Peru Day 7: Collpapampa, Lucmabamba, Santa Teresa and Hot Springs

We woke up at a normal time - 7:00 AM from our lovely igloos.  We slept so soundly I didn't even get to see the stars.   Since our trails were washed out by the landslide we could walk along a dirt road with cars zooming by us or we could just take a van to a few fun locations.  We stopped first at a passion fruit farm. I love passion fruit.  I could have eaten them all day. The mosquitoes also loved us.  They started feasting on us.  We stopped at our sleeping location.  Because of the landslide our original location wasn't available so we stayed at a coffee farm.  We picked beans, skinned them, roasted them, saw some beans drying , then tried a sip of home made coffee.  Yuck.  not my thing.

Then we drove an hour down the river to the town of Santa Teresa and enjoyed some lovely natural hot springs.  It felt great to soak - and then be eaten by mosquitoes.  Dinner was lovely as usual and then off to bed.  It gets dark by 6:30 so we always ate in the dark.
