My callings in church have been activity days and cub scouts for most of my life.   This is our second annual Triathlon with the girls and boys in activity days.  It makes me so happy to give these kids the opportunity to do something that they may never do.  

Also getting in some beautiful fall rides with Beth.  It makes me happy.  Harston Family dinner at the park.  Playing baseball after dinner was great.  Abby getting her yellow tooth filled so it looks like a normal tooth.  She lost her baby tooth when she was one, and then a new one not coming in until she was much older.  We were grateful one came in even if it was damaged.  

Darren had to go out Nashville and got to see the Grand Ole Opry.  He sent me movies of people singing.  

Abby loved crazy hair day at school.  This is her last year of Elementary School.  Soaking it all in!

Darren gets his bike rides in now with his kids.  Grateful he can get out with them. 

Tyler is falling in love with photography and getting cool footage with his drone.  Also, Ella asked a friend to her first school dance.  Halloween dance is a great way to start.  

CCHS Price Mnt Bike Race

 It's starting to get a little emotional as we near the end of the bike season.  Tyler has raced with these kids for 6 years.  So many great people Mia and Zoe Shield are long-time friends from carpooling to Sandy for Silvermesa Elementary.  Ella got 4th place in this race.  She sure loves the podium!  Tyler raced varsity for his last two years.  

Brighton Alta hiking Loop with Friends

 One of the most beautiful hikes I have done for a long time.  The leaves were perfect.  I am so grateful to have friends I can hike with and a plethora of places to go explore.  

Tyler's 18th Birthday

 I am not good at holiday decorating or birthday parties. I want my kids to feel loved on those special days.  Thanks to some great neighbors that was a go for Tyler on his 18th bday.  The Montagues opened their pool for all his friends to come over.  I don't even know how many people came but over 50 came to celebrate.  Good music as they swam.  Pizza.  And a big Costco cake.  I think we used every towel in our house to get those kids all dried off.  We had to have the party a day early so he could do a SBO thing at school on his actual birthday. 

Abby Training for R2R in September

Abby and I needed to do some good hikes to get ready for R2R with the Larrabees.  This included hikes to the suspension bridge with friends.  Always trying to make it fun by playing on rocks as we go.  Going to the upper bridge and cooling off in the water.  

I also planned a hike to the hot springs.  We had all the neighborhood girls.  It was so beautiful and perfect weather.  I believe in the community of this church.  Connecting people always makes the community stronger.
