 Summer is winding down.  Ella raced in the Snowbird iCup race.  Fun to podium with friends.  

Love the tradition of hiking to the Suspenion Bridge on Wednesday mornings during the summer.  

Abby hosted a little tumbling month long class.  She is a natural teacher and leader.

Lots of rain in August caused major flooding all over Draper.  Abby and friends got caught in a rain storm with me when we were hiking and training for R2R.  Abby took a friend, Eliza, to Timp cave to see it and to train for R2R.  

Ellas braces coming off just in time for 10th grade.  

Darren is great at riding with his kids.  Driving them up to Snowbasin to practice before a race.  

Also, Savage Lagoon day with Darrens work. The girls enjoy it.  Darren and I might not love it as much!  SO many peaches on our trees this year.  Cant wait!

Biking and training with the CCHS mnt bike team is a big part of summer.  

Timp from Aspen Grove with Amy R and Robyn

I haven't climbed Timp for years and years.  I have been working on physical therapy for my knee.  It was great to go do it with friends who went my slow pace.  Amy and Robyn coach the ski team with me.  They are the coolest ever.  I ended up having to run down the trail to get to Tyler's ACT class but I made it.  It was a perfect day.   The mountain goats were not nervous about us walking right next to them.  We were nervous.  But they were right on our path. We also had a run-in with a mommy moose and her baby.  It charged us but eventually left the path so we could pass. 

Jones and Co Girls Trip- Payette River Hot Springs

Jones and Co Trip.  Great relaxing trip.  Ang was post-surgery but was able to walk with crutches.  This trip was just for her.  We wanted her there of course.  We stayed at Pine Flats Campground for two nights.  We rafted the swirly canyon and a few other spots on the Payette by Garden Valley.  We had good food, hot springs, and songs around the campfire.  I had been here before when Tyler and Ella were little.  It was great to go again!
