Ella cut her hair. It was in her eyes she said. So she cut it off. Those are her words.
She was a bit sad when she saw how sad I was. She is an emotional child!
We showered and put clean clothes on and went to get it fixed the next day.

Now she will wear pig tails for the next year. Without the pigtails--- it is a super good mullet.

Ella likes to wear a skirt every day. I am not sure how winter is going to go over. Here... flared sleeves, skirt, and boots... on her bike!

Every kid does it at some point or another. Emily's reason for cutting her own hair was because she was tired of syrup getting in it when she ate breakfast in the morning. It's funny what gets into their heads.

AHHHHH!!!! Beckett cut his hair not a couple months back. Right out of the middle of his head...I have been talking to Monroe that NOBODY is allowed to cut her hair but mommy and the haircut place. So we went to get her first haircut and the next day she apparently thought she learned all she need to learn to have a go at it herself. Fortunately, she isn't too ballsy and didn't go to deep. I guess this is what happens when you have a BALLSy child. I know not the best joke but I think it is funny and it was so unintentional at first but then I just had to go with it. Isn't it wonderful that she has been inspired by your recent hair style change. I do love her pigtails.

I have a game that I like to play when things are going the way that I would be like, it's called it could be worse...
It could be worse, she could have said that her hair was slowing her down on whilst cruising on her bike and lopped off the entire back in addition to the front and then you wouldn't have pigtails.

I think she was just trying to look like Rihanna! Alyssa cut Carinn's hair once. I was not too happy about that. :)
