June 9-12... vacation to City of Rocks in Malta Idaho. We were invited by some neighbors to go and loved it.... but we always love going to City. I have pictures of me there as a kid!
This year was a winner for family. Tyler and Ella made it to the top of Bath Rock this time. A little rock climbing with no ropes. Its just a class 5 climb so you dont need ropes, but it is still pretty high off the ground. City of Rocks is amazing. Everywhere you look is amazing. We had beautiful sunsets every night.
We spent one day in Castlerock next door. The river by the picnic table was delightful for the kids after they had been climbing all day. We headed over to Practice Rock and everyone got a few good chances to climb. Even Abby. Her first climb. She made it to the top and I was so proud!
On our way home we stopped in Logan to visit Grandma and Grandpa. They had coordinated with the organist to have Tyler play postlude. It is pretty neat to try out different organs. They are all so different.
