Aspen for 6 hours

This weekend we made the fast drive down to Aspen Colorado. Our friend Torah Bright is a snowboarder sponsored by Roxy. We drove down with some friends- something I was not used to- I mean, having more than one kid in a car is nice so they can entertain each other but also there were toys dropped, snacks to be passed back, and quarrels to put out. But all in all, I learned to appreciate that my parents took us on lots of road trips even with 6 kids in a compact space for many hours.

Anyway, Aspen. Our friend ended up taking second in the half pipe competition. She lost by less than one full point. We were on ESPN for about 30 seconds because we all had jerseys on that spelled out GO TORAH and on the back, we love you Torah Bright. Then ROXY took all 8 friends and 4 children/babies out to a very nice sushi restaurant. I do wish I liked seafood, because when you can order what ever you want and enjoy yourself, it seems good to order sushi at a sushi restaurant. But I didn't. I did have some good other food. I think I actually tried everything on the menu that wasn't seafood related. Tyler was so tired from the day, He didn't even wake up in the loud restaurant and just slept from 10:30 until we left the place shortly after 12. That was very nice. We stayed in Glenwood Springs about 45 minutes out of Aspen, and got up and drove up the next day. so one quick trip.

Tyler is still doing wonderful about potty training. Our baby girl is growing great and the doctor said that just because Tyler came a month early dont plan on this one coming early. so I have 9 more weeks. Darren is loving all this snow, not because of all the shoveling but he is enjoying skiing and still runs 5 mornings a week. Even in terrible mushy snow.

Last note. If you dont want to receive these updates let me know or you can unsubscribe to the tylerandcompany group at google groups. I know some of you may just want to check it when ever you want and may not want to get an email every time. I will take no offense if you ask me to take your name off the list. If you check it great, and if not, great. Take care
