St George State Mnt Bike Championships 2022

This was an emotional and amazing weekend.  My kids have been spinning, riding outside and training about 5 days a week since January.  This is the weekend for that to pay off.  It was tough.  Ella raced Friday and did well.  She was rated 4th in our region.  Then add in all the regions so started about 17th.  She finished about there even with a total blockage in the course where the ride leaders got a huge gap and the race was over just as it had started.  The weather was sunny for her.  Saturday started windy and ended extremely windy for Tylers race.  He enjoyed this season in Varsity and will crush it next season.  He crashed... again!  The wind was 20-30 miles per hour pushing him around.  His sunglasses got blown off by the wind.  He could hardly breath as he was inhaling so much dust.  So proud of him for finishing.  It was 100% survival mode.

The coaches and girls Ella trains with are amazing.  So grateful for them and their influence on my girl.  There were so many people at the race.  Absolutely packed.  Abby got to go on a bike ride with a friend.  She did a great job cheering her brother and sister on.

The drive home took forever.  We hit rain then snow then slick roads.  So grateful for Darren and his ability to handle those roads.

Wasatch Crest 2022

Such an incredible fall.  I don't usually take this many pictures but others I go with take lots of photos.  Then I have to save them all since they are so beautiful.  Fantastic Mnt bike ride with Beth, Melissa and Brittany.

Park City Fall Ride with Darren

Enjoying the Fall leaves on another date... I love it!  Darren and I headed up to Park City to ride Urban Mother.  What an evening.  Absolutely beautiful.  I enjoyed the company too!

American Fork Bike Ride in the Fall Leaves

When it is amazingly beautiful it is hard to not take so many pictures.  Pictures never quite do it though!  But this Fall was amazing.  The colors were so vibrant.  So ... a nice bike ride with Ang and Katie.  It does my heart and soul good.

Richfield Mnt bike race

I didn't get to see this race.  Abby went to tumbling instead.  It was finally time to divide and conquer so Abby could do her own things.  They camped in Darrens truck.  Ella podiumed again.  So proud of both of them.
