Disney Wonder Cruise

A trip of a life time.  My kids and their cousins were all a perfect age.  Darren got to work but we still had a great time. My kids were so big and grown up.  They worked hard to go on this trip.  We meet all the cousins in San Diego.  One of my favorite pictures of the whole trip is with my sisters in front of the boat.

I did not really love the exercise room. But I did love walking around the 4th floor deck.  Three times around was a mile.  Eric got in a 10 mile run one day.  On a different rainy day we walked every floor of the ship, we saw every hallway we could get into and noticed all the cutely decorated doors.

The freedom the kids experienced was amazing.  They could stretch their wings in a safe environment.  Buffets, french fries any time and late night pizza.  All you can eat soft serve ice cream was a hit.  Abby tried to get 10 a day.  I loved the opportunity to have a five course meal every night for dinner.  I loved the Tyler tried so many new things.

We spent time at the pools, in the hot tubs, at live broadway style shows, magic shows, movie theaters, and the kids clubs.  I totally loved taking Ella to her first club.  Lots of fun clean dancing with great music.  There were crafts all the time.

We stopped in Cabo one day.  We enjoyed the beach but not so much the vendors selling their wares.  The glass bottom boat was fun and seeing Lands End.

We all loved Pirate night.  Dressing up, dancing and load music, and fireworks until we were all exhausted.

Another day we stopped in Ensenada. Renee had a friend there that we met at the beach.  We didn't need any crazy excursions.  We just needed waves and sand.    Tyler just wanted to try a coconut this trip.  Grandpa helped us out.  We found a driver who took us around and showed us the town.

St George Spring Break 2019

We had a last minute change of plans.  Spring Break in St. George with the Larrabee's. The boys got out on a few fun rides.  Lots of kids on the Middle school and High School bike teams!  The younger kids go to go to the famous Crack in St George. We went to the Train playground.  We stopped in at Gunlock Reservoir to jump in the cold water.  Everyone was there.  We swam in the condo pool which was fun.  We tried to be careful with Ella't broken toes! We listened to conference and loved the booklets we got from primary to help the kids focus.

Last month of Ski Team!

March- Last month of ski team.  And the most exciting.  We had an avalanche in Provo canyon that flew down right in front of one of coaches who was headed home.  Since I am one of the Head Coaches I had to stay and make sure kids got out safely.  But by the time I tried to leave the ski patrol was just shutting down Sundance Canyon also.  So we hunkered down and ate some good food and watched some movies with kids.  In the mean time Darren and Ella drove down to Snowbasin for a race.  It would have been fun to go together but the darn avalanche.

Rachel and Ely came in town so I got to take them skiing.  Nachos at Bear Claw was exciting.

We did have some pretty amazing days.  Perfect snow and lots of it.  But we were all getting ready for a break.  When I showed up to the resort with my slippers on I knew I was loosing it!

We had the Larkins with us for the whole season.  I loved the last day.  Skiing and enjoying the sunshine.
