Christmas and New Years 2022

December means Charli the Elf is back at our house.  Charli is always doing something fun and leaves a treat for the kids to find in the morning.  Abby wakes up and rushes around trying to find where he is.

We spent a night in Logan.  We went skiing with Grandpa and Nolans crew.  Beaver was beautiful and so cold.  The kids were amazing.  The high for the day was 3 degrees.  We enjoyed Fredricos with Grandma when we got home.  We got to ski a few days later with Nolan and the boys again at Snowbird.

We hosted the Harston family for Christmas Dinner and festivities.  Grandpa and Grandma planned a lovely night.  We walked to the Tree of Light and enjoyed a lovely sunset.  The potluck dinner was delish and I wish I could have eaten more.  Smokie Dog was adorable begging for food.  Then we had a special program.  Grandma had written a new play for the kids to act out so everyone had a part.  Abby was very serious about it and memorized her lines in 24 hours so she could be prepared.  Fun to see the picture of my family years ago - I am the blond one in pink.

Pat and Seth joined us for Christmas.  The kids were excited to wake up early.  We had church at 11:30 which was perfect timing.  I really enjoyed going to church on Christmas Day.  The messages and songs were perfect.  Abby crashed early that night.

New Years at the cabin was magical again.  We had family and friends and High school friends.  I guess I had too much fun to take any pictures.  Darren did some back country skiing both every day.  We had some of his buddies from skiing come up.  So fun to meet them.  Seth bought Jeana a 5,000 piece puzzle which we worked on.  Sledding, sauna, games, food, not too much sleep.... it was a lovely weekend.  2022 was a great year.  I am ready for 2023
