New Years @ the Cabin 2019

New Years at the Cabin.
What a fun tradition.  .... 2 years in a row!
Great people and lots of fun with not as much sleep.

Lots of sledding and being pulled behind the ranger.  There was so much snow it was magical.  Darren even slipped away with Steve and the Larrabees to their cabin and did some backcountry skiing.

December 2019

December was a great adventure.  Lots of skiing and organizing for the upcoming Maverick Ski season.  Abby lost a whole bunch of teeth and can't eat an apple!  She wanted to have a sleepover with me one night so we made her a cozy bead.  Our amazing friend Valree Dowland helped us learn how to make incredible gingerbread houses.  She made Hogwarts with her kids!

Ella didn't want to do ski team this year.  Just the school play and tumbling.  Tyler and Abby started skiing a lot in December!
Ella did her first piano recital.  Great fun to have two kids in lessons.... I just need a little more time and dedication to get Abby practicing more.  Tyler got to pay in the Honor Recital again.  He always does a great job.

I turned 40.  I spent the day with Darren which was lovely.  We skied and since I had done Xfit right before my legs were a bit shaky.  But it was awesome to spend the whole day with him since he took off of work.  Then we went downtown to get killer nachos at Red Iguana.  Over Christmas Break we took the kids all climbing with friend- Lauren.  Friends always seem to make things better right! Ella got some allergy testing done.  She is allergic to dogs and cats and a little bit to sage and horses.

Darren was able to get out on some Dawn Patrol mornings.  Its always amazing the views he gets.

Christmas 2019- Balls/Harston

There are just too many pictures to put them in order but Christmas was delightful.  We had all the Balls family together for several days.  We were able to get family pictures with everyone which was delightful!  Some of the Balls family was around for the Harston family dinner on Sunday so they came too.  I love hearing Jordan and Ranell sing.  My Dad is drawing cards for everyones birthdays and I sure love the ones he drew for my birthday and Christmas.  We ha

We had a great Balls family dinner with Darren cooking up a feast on the outdoor kitchen.  Aunt Whitney put her self in charge of all the kids games.  Of course they all loved it!  She brought fun ideas to take lots of pictures!

Darren and I got out for a hike one day. We seem to be able to squeeze that in most years during the holidays.  Nolan brought his girlfriend Kristy.  She is kind and thoughtful.  We all like her.

We got out skiing with the Balls family twice.  Once at the Beav and once at Sundance.

On Christmas Eve day I went to X-fit.  It was a killer workout to the song 12 days of Christmas.  You had to do the listed exercise over and over again just like the song repeats its self.

We had an awesome Hatch family party.  The boys were in charge of clean up.  They did an amazing job.  It was so great to see all my cousins I grew up with. I have a lot of good memories with these people.

Tyler was in charge of moving the Elf on the Shelf every night.  He was awfully fun about it.  I included some of the fun pictures he took around the house also.  He had his train set up around the Christmas tree which was super fun.
