August 2018

August was packed.  We enjoyed the summer but I am always ready to settle back down into our routine.  Darren had some lovely runs and bike rides in the mountains.  I was letting my ankle rest from tearing it in May!!!  Tyler and Darren were riding a lot.  Darren always comes home and is impressed with how much better Tyler is getting.  Darren even went up to the see Tour of Utah one day when we were all gone.

Ella got to go to Park City with Victoria for a few days.  She also got Grandma Balls old phone which has Messenger on it so she can text me and cousins.

Brother in Law Rob climbing Rainer with Chad, Jeana and Seth and we got to hear all about the adventure.  I loved this image as it shows the routes.

Some fun things we did ... play in sprinklers, eat dinner outside a lot, go for family walks, swim lessons,  paddle boarding at a local reservoir, Ella learned how to hit a baseball, Darren took the girls to Lagoon while Tyler and I were gone.

We played at Jennys one day with the slide, went to the cabin and Ella was spooked by a Moose, Hope Minnick came into town,  lots of yard projects, DARRENS AMAZING!, Abby had her friend Ava over a bit to swim and do dressups, Darren and I went to La Caille for dinner with his work, Dan's birthday with zuchinni as the center piece, lots of fresh peaches every day for two months!, My parents bought a smaller house by me which is great for them and us, Abby started a tumbing class finally.  She has had Ella be her coach for months and she is ready!

Back To school 2018

I am not good at those cute memories... but at least I got a few pictures.  Tyler started 7th grade.  He is half day at the Middle School and half day the High school taking AP Spanish.  He got a new hair cut... he liked it. Darren went in late to work so he could walk the girls to the bus stop.  Ella a 5th grader and Abby in Kinder.  They have one year together.  I hope they love it!  Both teachers posted some pictures on facebook to show that the first day was a success.
