November was a fun month.  Abby had fun hangouts with friends.  Her friends are growing taller and big (haha).  Abby is also getting stronger.  She did some fun hikes with Darren and Ella.  She can hike and run great with them.  With all her growing up she still loves her blankets and stuffies.  She set them up in a circle before school to have "book club" while she was gone. We love to all climb up on Abbys bed at night and hang out.  Also, first snow of the season was at the cabin.  Abby was out there for hours having a great time.    

Amy: Had Friendsgiving with so many ladies from my neighborhood.  So many strong capable women in my life.  Date with Darren to go downtown to the Arceryx store.  Having a fun climbing class with my 3-5 year olds at Momentum.  Cute little turkeys.  

Darren: He got to go to Florida for work.  Fun to check in with Jason and Whit.  He even go to go into Universal Studios for two hours when it was closed to the public.  Darren and Ella went with all the youth to the MTC. Neat to see where Tyler had just lived for 10 weeks.  Sophie Jane/Alex is in one of the pictures. Darren and Ella also are still training for SkiMo.  Running up the mountain is always fun!  Lastly, Always fun to see Nolan and his amazing wife, Sandra!  We love to see the boys anytime. 

Ella in November

 Ella had a lot of things going on in November.  

She raced in the 25 Hours of Frog Hollow.  Terrible weather and they still got first place with her team.  They dont race for 24 hours, they race for 25 hours since it is day light savings weekend.  

Ella also asked to Fall Formal.  Fun day date to the zoo and dinner at Trolley Square.  

Ella also had her Mnt Bike Closing Banquet.  Great friends.  

A fun weekend at the cabin.  Enjoying the snow and good friends. 

October 2024

October.  Some great hikes and biking adventures.  Battle Creek Loop was beautiful. Hiking up Cherry canyon was perfect since the ground was frozen and not sandy.   Biking in Eagle Mountain was beautiful until we got rear-ended on the drive home.  Carbon Fiber bikes and being rear-ended dont mix.   

Darren went to Kansas City for a few days.  Such a beautiful place.  

Abby and I got bangs and Ella chopped her hair.  Lots of fun changes.  Abby is doing great at school.  One of her teachers sent us a note about how great she is.  I enjoy Waffle Wednesday when Ella brings friends home and I get to see and talk to her friends.  

Great Halloween Brunch by Valree.  I was the only one not dressed up.  Thanks to a hat and an orange blanket it was ok.  I love book club and even more... just getting together with ladies I love.  I did "Dress Up" for Halloween.  I was just Amy- Dressed up.  Ella was a scarecrow adn Abby a giraffe.  Halloween also means Jordan and Michaels Birthday.  Fun to be with the Harston family.  

Abby and friends went biking a few times in October.  A new experience for some of them.  So great to have strong girls.  We need more girl bikers. 

We miss Tyler and think about him a lot.  P Days are so fun to talk to him.
