Tyler got to race in Cedar City at Regionals. Then two weeks later he qualified for State Championships in St. George. Super proud of all his hard work. I love these kids in the top picture. Claire Larkin and Tate Larrabee. Great neighbors and great friends. The races are so fun to watch since you spend the whole day cheering on your kids and your friends kids! Tyler wrapped up his Freshman year of racing at the top of his team.

Cherry Canyon, Prince of Wales, and Mnt Olympus
In preparation for my Grand Canyon trip I hiked a bunch. We took the kids on a hike called Prince of Wales Mine. It would have been fun to go inside the mine but it was very securely closed off. We saw snow though! Aho's and Harston's
One day we didn't have enough time to do much so we just went up Cherry Canyon here in Corner Canyon. Lovely leaves... steep. Parr and Aho.

September 2020
My mom friends and I went on a short steep hike to Lake Blanche. We saw several moose which was fun.
Tyler is still teaching Abby piano lessons. I love that they are getting better and better at working together. Sophie and Ella with similar dresses on at church.
A beautiful bike ride with Ella up Corner Canyon. Abby drew our Family Tree with the Balls side and the Harston side. She is very creative and made a Mandarin Chinese character in clay.
Crazy hair day at Draper Elementary. So hard to see with al those masks on. Tyler got his learner permit and someone how I got older! I sure don't feel old enough to have a 15 year old.
With Nolan living with us for a few weeks we love seeing the boys all the time. So glad they can all get out an do some bike rides together.
Pictures with Grandpa in uniform. He dedicated the grave for a friend who passed away and stayed dressed up so we could see him.
Grandpa Harston made us some delicious pumpkin pie. What a treat. We sure love it when he is in a baking mode!

Tyler's 15th Sushi Birthday Party Celebration
Tyler official birthday was on Saturday but since he was at a bike race we celebrated it on Sunday. It was so fun to have Nolan and his boys there to make it a party. The kids all decorated and had gifts for him. Even a wrapped tomato! Tyler requested Valree Dowlands Creme Bruele French Toast for breakfast.
With the Harston cousins next door it was a complete party. Jeana taught us how to make Sushi which Tyler has wanted to do for a very long time. Then we had crepes for desert. Grandpa and Grandma stopped by to sing happy birthday and eat with us.

Vernal Mnt Bike Race on Tylers 15th Bday
What a great weekend. My kids racing is so much fun. The atmosphere is fun. They both pushed so hard. The most fun is watching them compete hard against their good friends. It was Tylers official birthday. We may have forgot to wish him a happy birthday with all the rush and getting Ella to her start line. But we tried to make it up to him. We had the announcer do a shout out to him. The announcer had some friends sing to him. He got doughnuts to share with friends. We went out to dinner after the race where we sang to him and he got an ice cream sundae. We loved seeing our Rupp cousins at the race. Friends and good times at races!
