Tyler's 18th Birthday

 I am not good at holiday decorating or birthday parties. I want my kids to feel loved on those special days.  Thanks to some great neighbors that was a go for Tyler on his 18th bday.  The Montagues opened their pool for all his friends to come over.  I don't even know how many people came but over 50 came to celebrate.  Good music as they swam.  Pizza.  And a big Costco cake.  I think we used every towel in our house to get those kids all dried off.  We had to have the party a day early so he could do a SBO thing at school on his actual birthday. 

Abby Training for R2R in September

Abby and I needed to do some good hikes to get ready for R2R with the Larrabees.  This included hikes to the suspension bridge with friends.  Always trying to make it fun by playing on rocks as we go.  Going to the upper bridge and cooling off in the water.  

I also planned a hike to the hot springs.  We had all the neighborhood girls.  It was so beautiful and perfect weather.  I believe in the community of this church.  Connecting people always makes the community stronger.

Magical Summer Art and Flower Night

 I loved this magical night.  We went to Andrea's and made incredible flower arrangments from her flower garden.  Then as it started to get dark she helped us paint a beautiful canvas to take home.  It was such a beautiful night and made me want to plant more flowers in my own garden.  

Mnt Timp with the neighborhood ladies

 I had just hiked to the top of Timp with Robyn and Amy Ringer but I wanted to try to do it from the Timpanokee side also.  Lots less steep.  Great company.  Still working/always working through knee pain.  Hiking is a great therapy session to talk to others.  Always need it!
