Suessical- Thing 1- Ella's 14th Birthday

Ella has been practicing since October for the play Suessical.  She got to be Thing 1 in the play.  It was fun to see her out there being brave on the stage.  Her official birthday was Sunday but with school work and the play she opted to have a birthday party later.  

  

On Sunday she had Josie and Lauren over for crepes.

The following weekend she finally had a party.  Pizza and night games.   

Ella's Allergic Reaction??

We don't really know what I going on with Ella.  She started some medication... is her rash a reaction to that?  Is it something from Covid?  It hasn't been fun!  Its itchy and hard to not touch.

Abby's 9th Birthday

 We had a long celebration for Abby's birthday.  She celebrated with her ski team on Saturday afternoon. Then came home and got to go to the aquarium for a Grandpa Date.  All the fun cousins were there and we had cake pops to celebrate her.  She had a birthday party on Friday.  They made cake pops and did some fun spy activities like an Etsy Escape room.  On Thursday it was St Patricks Day and she got to go on a date with me to see a Hale Center Theater play.  And ... the day before St Patricks Day she set up a trap to try to catch a leprechaun.  There was a whole lot to celebrate for a few days.  We love Abby.  She is organized, determined, hard working, strong, and brave.  

February 2022

 

Abby trained twice a week with the Arrowhead Mega Shredders.  She has loved her coach, Sophie Clark.  Emmaline, Lucy, Lyla- some of her favorite ski friends!  Skiing at the Park City Olympic Park was so much fun.  Our dear friend and former Olympian, Rowena Bright Hyldahl, sure made Abby feel loved and important post race.  

After cold Tuesday night ski practices Abby is always chilled.  I loved that she curled up with a good book, hot cocoa and turned on the fireplace.  

My son loves me.  He brought me home a whole bag of wonderful Kneader bakery treats!

Grandpa came over and taught us how to make bread.  We had a few fun neighbors there to learn also.  

Ella spent a weekend in Moab with Lauren.  Then went down another weekend with Darren and Tyler.  

Tyler went to see a show at Hale Center Theater with some of his favorite cousins.  

He had a great time at Sweethearts with one of my favorite girls- Brooklyn Bailey.  

I loved a day of skiing with my coaching girl friends.  We had such a great time.  

Steamboat Weekend 2022

 It was so fun to get away and ski with Darren.  We went to Steamboat Colorado with some friends for three days.  My knees were not real happy but I did the best I could do.  

We had a close condo and we all bought matching tops.  We played games, skied and ate good food.  

January 2022

 It seems pretty crazy to me that I have ZERO pictures of the first month of 2022!!! Where did January go? Abby and I skied with the Arrowhead Ski Team every weekend.  Darren, Tyler, and Ella skied with their IKON passes all ever.  We were in the middle of a COVID spike.  We had several virtual school days due to that spike.  THE END.
