Lake Powell 2019

I cant even right text for all these pictures.  Lake Powell is amazing.  McKay was just about to head out on his mission so we lived it all up.  Larkins sure know how to host.  The Olympics, the Cross Fit workout, cliff jumping, good food, glowsticks, loud music, fireworks, night swimming, oreos and milk every night.

Checkerboard Canyoneering

Quick getaway trip to Southern Utah.  We slept at Lacey's and woke up crazy early to to drive forever to the back of Zion's.  Then we hiked 4 hours to the coolest canyon.  Always a good time with the "A team".

The first drop was big and awesome.  Since we all knew canyoneering we moved fast.  Leap frogging from rap to rap.

When we finally dropped into the Narrows we had lunch and then knew we had hours still to go in the river.  We ran into a family in need of help.  We had to slow our pace to help them out of the canyon.  But we made it before the last shuttle.  The next day we stopped in Kolob Canyon to see the views.  Beautiful country for sure.

We must be grounded on the rock of revelation, and although we may not know the answer to every question, we must know the answers to the primary questions. And if we do, the gates of hell shall not prevail against us and we will stand forever.
