March 2023

March was packed with snow storms.  What a treat.  It was just beautiful outside.  Hopefully we won't have too much flooding in April.

Movie night for Abby with friends.  Ella finally sinking into reading good books.

iCup race in Santa Clara.  Nolan and the boys came and did it with us.  Then we got to go enjoy the St George house for the first time.  The Lagoon was COLD but kids got in for the bribery of a snow cone.

Abby went hiking with Nolan and the boys to Red Rocks... a place I still haven't gone to yet.

Ella headed out to California for a National Bike Race with the Montagues.   It was a great learning experience even though she got pulled/lapped on the first day of racing and was struggling to breathe on the 2nd day of racing.

Tyler got answered to Prom.  Natalie said YES, she was popping to go with him.  They are pretty darn cute together.
I got in one last ski day with Robyn and Amy Ringer.  So much powder this year.  The Lakes and Larkins also got a fun date night in for karaoke.

Maverick Ski Team 2023

My 6th season with Arrowhead Ski Team.  I love the Mavericks group.  What a great group of coaches and athletes this year.  Wow.  And so so so much snow.

And the awesome Coach Parker and Athlete Jamison.  Athlete of the year.

Abby's 10th Birthday

Abby turned 10.  We talked a lot about no longer being a single digit... 9 years old, but being a double digit for the rest of her life.  She had fun friends over to eat waffles, make chocolate dipped strawberries, and watch a movie.

For her Family birthday party we had a bake off.  Abby had us vote on best presentation, most delicious, and most creative.  Tylers hamburgers won by a long shot.

Brianhead and True Grit weekend

We find that most often Darren and I have to divide and conquer with our kids.  We can't make it to all the events but we make it if we split up.  I suppose it's just a season of life but one day I will see Darren again.  We celebrated our 22 year of marriage but saying hi and then splitting up for the weekend.  Tyler and Ella were signed up for a big 45 mile technical mountain bike race.  They did it.  It was raining and muddy.  It was cold.  And it was a lot of miles on a mountain bike.

Abby and I went to Brianhead.  We skied for two days and enjoyed the snow and time together.  So many great friends to spend time with.
