What a fun crazy packed month.  We really squished every second out of it before school started.  

Ella went to Oakcrest camp.  They had a great time even though they had to wear pants.  

We got some yard art from friends.  I love it!

Swimming under the rainbow and then school starts.  Phew! As soon as kids start school I can get out again.  Weekly hikes start now!

 

Grand Teton Girls Weekend Day 4

 Our triple adventure weekend was great.  Paddling the Snake River through some rapids.  I may have shed a few tears of exhaustion and PTSD but by the end I was all smiles.

We made it to the top- there was some insane wind and super cold but we did it.  We woke up at 2:30 to get up the fixed lines in the dark.  battled up the saddle, through the eye of the needle, took a rest at a look out, we go to the belly crawl and roll just after sunrise.  Ang set the line for us.  We flew through.  We did the chimneys and scrambled up the face.  Coming up on top around 8:00 am.  The summit was breathtaking.  

The way down is so fast and easy.  But we were tried.  The Rappel is great.  And taking off a few layers was nice.  We made it down to the moraine and took a nap.  Then started the hike down.  Knees tired and ankles tired.  Dinner in town was delicious.
