A few highlights from June. Abby loves to write notes and lists.
"I am on a bike ride with Dad"- on the "mothership" big bike.
Her list is so good. Its what she needed to do on a Sunday.
June was a great month for bike riding. It was so cool that we could bike lots. Tyler is improving so much. He has been training since January so he could be ready to start racing in August. I even got out on a few rides. I need to get my back stronger so it doesn't hurt when I ride. Ella rode with the "Trikes to Trails" group for 6 weeks. She had friends who rode also so it was fun. She's a strong athlete. Tyler also lead some group rides with some friends who wanted to get into biking more. It was some proud mom moments to see him teaching other people what he knows.
Savage just hired a man named Darren Balls... as an accountant. His email address is darrenballs. Its amazing to meet this guy. He gets emails all the time that are supposed to go to darrenlballs instead. He got the updates from Mom and Dad while they were on their mission. He gets the Harston blurb every month. It was a good laugh!
Darren also started his dream project. He has wanted an outdoor kitchen forever. So we will have picture before and then after.
We love having friends over. Nolans boys came over for a nice weekend. The Minnick's and Snowder's got together. We left the kids at home to play and the adults went to dinner. We went to the cabin to do some spring cleaning. The Willowbend pool opened so even thought it was 60 degrees outside the girls wanted to try their new mermaid tails they had gotten for Christmas.
We had fun with the Harston Cousins visiting. Who knew that by the end of the summer they would be our neighbors. We have enjoyed doing the Come Follow Me program on Sundays. We did it one Sunday all together on the King size bed.
BBQ with friends. Dodgeball- the teams were Dad's against kids. Ice cream at Dads work is always fun. Neighbors who own a bounce house business are great. We love fun parties there! And we hit up a few splash pads. The one in Riverton is huge!
While Tyler was at Youth Conference Grandpa and Linda took us on the Front Runner train to Ogden. We had a lovey lunch at Waffle Love. Played at a park. Enjoyed the pianos along the street.
The garden is growing. Some onions came up from last year and were taller than Ella. Ella had a Pinewood Derby race. Tyler has some amazing bed head.
