Monday May 3rd, we went to the Springs hotel. We bought a package for the whole day of fun. It included lunch, hot springs day pass for the next day, tubing fro 2:30-3:30 and 9:15-10:15 horseback riding. It was 500$ per family, ask for Martin Mano and Oscar on the horse tour. The Springs hotel is very posh. I wouldn't mind going back! We spent they day in the lower part of the huge resort. It is called Club Rio since it is by the river. The shade, the games, the river, the hot springs... it was all magical. Abby was the most excited for the horse back ride. We had heard fun things about this adventure. We walked and trotted and even ran with the horses. We went on trails and through rivers. Abby was all grins.
After horse back riding we had a delicious lunch. I felt spoiled and we spilled one to many drinks in our excitement. Then came the tubing. We chose to not do any rafting since we had little kids and no husbands around.
We lounged around after the tubing. Exploring all the hot springs tucked into the jungle. When we were finished we had dinner, got smoothies, bought a bag full of coconuts and went to bed.
