September 2025

September- What a great month!  Nephew Jordan left for Singapore, and my parents got to see him at the airport.  We love talking to Tyler and seeing his photos.  This is a photo of his two favorite people on his mission.  I am grateful for good missionaries.

My cousin Josh Gardners weddding.  Seeing my cousins Westley, Courtney and Jerrica.

Come Follow Me with Larrabees, Harstons, and Dowlands.  I love this time each week.  Jeana taught us how to make sushi after one meeting.

Abby is growing up.  Riding her with DPMS mnt biking team to 7-11.  Getting two fake teeth to fill in the gaps where she doesn't have teeth.  Still sleeping with her tiggy and blanket. Growing taller- the locker pictures are of her in 6th grade and then on to 7th grade.

Making calzones with friends.  Blackhawk tour with the YW and YM.

Ella is a senior and her life is full.  NHS induction meeting and LOTS of biking.  Park City, Corner Canyon, her Pink Varsity Girls group with Darren.

I did some great hikes in September.  Mary, Martha and Lake Catherine with friends.

Then Brighton Ridge Loop.  Catherine Pass to Sunset, Pioneer, Clayton, and Preston Peak. I love hiking alone at my pace with a good book in my ear.

Then Deseret Peak in the Stansbury Mountains with Katie and Ang.

Darren in Mexico City and Veracruz

Darren had to go to Mexico City and Veracruz for work.  I love that he takes walks and sends me pictures of things I would like.  Beautiful places and good food.  All the accountants he was spending time with ended up going to see Shakira on their last night.  Darren said his time in Mexico reminded him of his mission.

Beaver Mnt and Panguitch Mnt Bike Race- Homecoming

Abby's second race.  Beaver Mnt.  Fun to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house the night before.  Beautiful course.  Abby improved from her first race.  I was proud of her for pointing the right way on the podium.  (its the small things) Rachel came with us to hang out with Ella.  As soon as Ellas race was over we headed back to Draper so they could get ready for Homecoming.

What a beautiful race in Panguitch.  The red rocks were amazing.  I loved camping.  So many little friends of Abby's.  Abbys last race as a 7th grader.  Ellas has only two more races until she is done.  She has worked hard and is ready for a break.
