A long weekend in January

It was Martin Luther King weekend... lots of stuff going on.  We decided to play all weekend.   Ella and Abby had friends over to do a play on Friday night.   Avery. Josie. Daisy. Ella. Abby and Grace
I got to go teach Maverick Sundance Ski team on Saturday morning.

Darren and Abby got to cheer on Ella at her first official tumbling competition.  She took 1st, 3rd, and 3rd.  I was so proud of her.  When they got home late that night Abby wanted to try on Ella's medals with her own black leo on.

Tyler got to go to Snowbird for his first South Series Race.  He finished which I was proud of.  Its not easy to ski against kids who have been competing for years.  And he had no parent support.  He just had to figure it out on his own.

After Church on Sunday we headed up to the cabin.  Lots of family that I love.  Good fun and a warm cozy place to hang out.  The kids put on a play for us.  Wow what a (messy) production.  We got to celebrate Lucy's bday.  The kids enjoyed playing in the snow.  We were glad Darren could come up for Sunday.  Then He and my Dad headed down to work on Monday morning.
