Spring Break in Utah

Ella went to sunny Florida for spring break… we stayed home and enjoyed a nice week of no school! We went for a nice walk along the Bonneville Shoreline trail.  I planted a whole bunch of starts.  Tyler and Abby had lots of “buddy” time.  Abby slept over in her hippo tent since she couldn’t sleep over with Ella.  

 One day we took a friend, Taylor skiing.  Abby showered her how to do it!  It was a perfect spring day.

We took a fun family bike ride.  Played some games.  Tyler had a fun climbing class where he got to stack crates and stand on the top.    

 My sister, Jenny/Jonnn and I signed up for a half marathon but we both got injured and dropped down to a 5K.  …. On the way to the race we were rear ended and we never made it to race.  So we stopped at the finish line and grabbed an expensive bagel and chocolate milk!  Expensive since we never ran a race… but we did train so it was ok!

We enjoyed friends and family time.  The walks around the neighborhood were amazing.  I think I will stay home on spring breaks more often!
