April 2025

Ella and her training with the Maybird Black Team.  Such great girls.

I do enjoy our weekly Come Follow Me with the Harstons, Dowlands, and Larrabees.  It makes me happy.

Monthly calls about the Cabin with my family.
Abby cleaning out her craft projects.
Weekly talking to Tyler.  Sending messages anytime to him.  He does believe Jesus will help Ella on her ACT test.

My kind of biking!!!
All things Abby.  Parents come to lunch day.  Chinese dance competition at BYU with friends.  They sang and made up a fan dance.  School projects.  Abby is a great leader.  Dressing up and being creative with friends. ALWAYS!

Valrees 40th Birthday Party.  What a hit.  Ella was a casino dealer for Texas Hold 'Em.

Abby is riding with her Blue Maybird Team.  Lauren and Brooklyn are the best coaches.  So excited that Abby is finally old enough.

Quiet St. George Weekend- Cactus Hugger

What a nice weekend with family.  Kids pre-rode the Cactus Hugger course while I walked around and ended up picking up garbage.  My tendinitis in my elbow was too painful to bike.  Then we went to swim and float the river at Sheeps Bridge.  It was so nice and cool.  Tawnie and Dan came to hang out with their kids.  It was great to visit.

Saturday was an early morning to get back out to the Jem Trails.  Jane and Abby raced first, and Ella later in the day.  We stopped to get cinnamon rolls after.  Stacie and Ben came over to hang out with their kids and chat by the pool.  What a lovely time.

On Sunday, we hit up Church with Tawnie and then drove home.  The girls didn't even make it to the freeway before they fell asleep.

Spring Break Moab- 100 miles on the White Rim

Wednesday, April 9th. HiAmasa with Abby and the Daly's.  Abby was so strong.  She and Darren were cruising.

Thursday, April 10th- Ella and Darren did 100 miles on the White Rim Trail.  What a great group: Larrabees, Montagues, Dalys, Balls.  It was a warm day but they started at 7:00 AM.  They were so dirty when they got back.  Tired but happy.

Amber, Abby and I did Lockjaw Canyon.  The big overhang was tough with Amber and I both crushing our hands between the rope and the rock.  Abby was perfect and did the overhang perfect.   Then biking at Dead Horse Point with Chad, Jeana and Soren.  Soren loved biking and is going to join the DPMS mnt bike team.

Friday, April 18th- Fins and Things, swimming in Mill Creek.  Then a lovely lunch on the Rotary Park grass.  Great dinner that night with peach cobbler in the dutch oven.

Saturday, April 12th, Biking at Navajo Rocks with Soren.  So glad he loves it.  Then drive home.  Tired and excited to sleep in our own bed.
